Optometrist
Christopher S. Connell, O.D., treats and manages ocular disease, including but not limited to glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, ocular infections, corneal foreign body removal and dry eye disease. Dr. Connell is also available for post-operative care and routine family eye care for all ages. A native Hoosier, Dr. Connell attended high school in Indianapolis and received his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Indiana University. He remained in Bloomington and received his doctorate with honors from the Indiana University School of Optometry.
Prior to joining Indiana Eye Clinic, Dr. Connell provided comprehensive eye care and ocular disease management at a group optometric practice in the greater Indianapolis area for more than five years. He also gained experience during his clinical externships at the Florida Gulf Coast VA, Indianapolis Eye Care Center and a large ophthalmology group practice in central Indiana.
Dr. Connell currently lives in Avon with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending his free time hiking, traveling, cooking and playing frisbee golf.
Dr. Connell will practice in the Plainfield office.
