Employee Spotlight — Pamela Campbell

Pamela Campbell has been working in the field of eye care for nearly 30 years. She joined the Indiana Eye Clinic team in January of last year, and she feels right at home.

As a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Pamela provides assistance in the clinical setting with patient testing.

Pamela’s favorite part of the job is the quality time she gets to spend with patients.

“It’s a thrill to interact with them on a daily basis,” she said. “I’m a people person, so getting to bond with patients is a great privilege.”

Outside of work, Pamela’s life is all about family. She has three grown children and two grandchildren — both boys in their toddlerhood.

“My time with them consists of playing Transformers and Batman,” she said with a hearty laugh.

When Pamela’s not in the living room surrounded by action figures and gleefully engaging in fantasy worlds, she enjoys whipping up wonderful meals in the kitchen.

“Mexican food is by far my favorite, but Italian is my backup,” she said. “The kitchen is the center of the home and the central spot for family time.”

Pamela is grateful to have a second home at Indiana Eye Clinic that feels just as warm and comfortable.
