Hannah Kester has experience in multiple areas of the eye care field — from billing for procedures to helping people find the right lenses for their vision needs.

“I love continuing to learn about and work in a field that’s so important to people’s daily lives,” she said. “Vision care is vital for people of all ages.”

Hannah joined Indiana Eye Clinic as an Optician in December of 2017. She now serves as an Account Services Representative, collaborating with insurance providers on behalf of patients and setting up the best coverage, prices and payment plans for all their vision needs — including exams, procedures and prescriptions.

“I’m a math nerd, and I love numbers, so working in billing is so satisfying,” Hannah said. “It’s also nice to be familiar with multiple aspects of eye care — the medical side and the financial side.”

Hannah feels grateful for the people with whom she gets to navigate the eye care world day in and day out.

“I love my co-workers,” she said. “IEC is like a second family. This is a great work environment.”

Outside of work, Hannah loves spending time with her daughter and sister, whether that means venturing out to the park, seeing movies, trying new restaurants or just hanging out at home.
