Dr. William F. Keeling

William F. Keeling, Ph.D., M.D., specializes in surgery of the eye with a particular interest in laser refractive surgery, advanced technology cataract surgery and multifocal Intraocular Lenses. Dr. Keeling graduated from Wabash College in 1984 and received his Ph.D. in Medical Physiology and Biophysics at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1988. In 1992 he completed his medical degree with highest honors at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Following an internship at St. Vincent Hospital in 1993, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the top-ranked University of Iowa Ophthalmology program in 1996.

Dr. Keeling is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American Medical Association, Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, Indiana State Medical Association, Indianapolis Medical Society and past member of the Indiana Medical History Museum. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

He has completed specialized training programs in Laser Assisted in Situ Keratomaleusis (LASIK and LASEK) and Photo Refractive Keratectomy (PRK). Other areas of interest include glaucoma, cornea, oculoplastics and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Keeling comes from a long line of physicians dating back to the 1700s. Most of his predecessors have practiced in the central and southern regions of Indiana.

Dr. Keeling is available to see patients in Plainfield and Greenwood, Ind.
