Essilor Computer™ lenses are made especially for people over 40 with presbyopia, a condition in which near vision becomes blurred with age.
Sometimes called computer glasses, these lenses are often used by people who sit in front of a computer work station for long periods. But others use them to read, sew or other close-up tasks.
They are task-oriented lenses and are not designed to be worn all the time. It works similar to a typical progressive lens. A small area at the top of the lens is used for distance, where you can see about 10 feet out. The middle area is larger so you can comfortably view a computer screen or anything else directly in front of you.
If you’ve tried computer glasses in the past, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by today’s advanced technology lenses. Contact us for more info.
